Missions begins by reaching out to your neighbor, your community, your nation, and to other nations.  This page will give you opportunities to assist in Adventure’s efforts to reach people in many nations. There are numerous ways you can serve without having to go to the far ends of the earth…. or even leaving your comfortable home.   From home you can PRAY or communicate with our mission partners via mail, email, skype, phone calls etc. You can host a missionary in your home.  What a very enriching experience (as one person shared – “one of our dearest friends is a missionary family we have hosted in our home numerous times over the years”).

There are numerous opportunities to serve at Church by using your skills in support of our mission partners.  Of course there is always the opportunity to go to another state or the far ends of the earth on a mission trip.

If you do not see a serving opportunity below please contact me to discuss your desires on how you can serve in missions. Help us in loving our mission partners one at a time, as they are overseas loving people one at a time.

Serving opportunities

Prayer Partners – People who are willing to commit to regular prayer for our missionary partners serving overseas.

Missionary Advocates – People with a passion for one of our Adventure missionaries who would like to join the team that comes alongside and “loves upon” that missionary.

Website management & Design – A person with computer skills (especially word press) to assist with the updates and modifications to our missions website; as well as developing and maintaining a social media page.

Events – People having a servant heart to work on organizing and implementing mission events. Some events are as small as a dozen and others potentially a thousand or more.

Drivers – People who are willing to transport our short term mission teams to or from the airport.

Using Your Gift – If you have a desire to support missions at Adventure, God can use your skill!! There are numerous other opportunities (or we will create one for you) from one hour per month to one day per week. Let me know how you would like to serve!!
