New York – June 15-23, 2013
Trip Leader – TBA | Approx. Cost – $1,000
Adventure will love on the people in New York by helping them recover from the disaster of Hurricane Sandy. We will join South Nassau Christian Church as they reach out into the community and strive to meet their goal “ to see One More Life Touched, Transformed, and Sent by The Gospel of Grace.” Does that sound like “loving people one at a time?” The Church should have their refurbishing done and be able to house the team. We will be working on one of the many projects they have going to help people refurbish their homes so they are habitable. There will be some opportunities for some later trips or individual ministry opportunities. They are especially desirous of people with construction skills. Click here for more info about the ministry.

Pinehaven is a residential, year-round program aimed at providing a stable, controlled, secure environment in which young people can reach the potential that God has placed within them. It is a working kid and cattle ranch near Missoula, Montana. The goals of the week of service are to get a first hand look at the work at Pinehaven and to give an opportunity to help accomplish the physical work needed at the ranch. One of our youth from Adventure Church attended Pinehaven and had his life transformed by the ministry. This will be an opportunity to give back and support this ministry as well as to witness to the youth on the ranch. Click here to learn more about the ministry.

Other Opportunities
There are numerous opportunities to serve on a short term mission trip, depending upon your skills and location around the world in which you would like to serve, all of which can not be listed on our site. There are opportunities such as: teaching overseas (to nationals as well as new pastors), counseling, medical care, construction, office skills, photography, videography, and almost every other skill you may possess (I even once saw a request for a golfer to serve on the mission field – wow is that sacrificing for Jesus). Many times, there are opportunities for you to serve individually for only two or three days in connection with your business trip or vacation.
There are opportunities for serving in secure countries that we are unable to announce. Most all are safe for travel, however we are unable to publicize them due to security risks for our missionaries serving there. Please contact me for individual information. Contact: missions@adventurechurch.org
